Extension with Roof Lantern

The owners wanted to increase the space in their living area and they knew they wanted to increase the light in the room too.

The room was generally quite dark so not a place where the couple spent a lot of time and they really wanted to get more from it. The goal was to draw light in with the extension and make it a more appealing space they would want to use more often.

We created a back extension on part of the area that had been a patio in the garden.

The owners waned an attractive design so we created some feature point in the brickwork to give it a unique look. Due to the flat roof of the extension we opted for a roof lantern skylight to maximise light throughout the extension and bounce light back into the house.

From first contact the whole process was seamless. From planning to construction to the finished room. We were left with a space that was clean, solid and ready to use.

We were kept up to date on progress every step of the way so we knew exactly what was happening. They didn’t just finish the job and disappear either, they were on hand to check we were happy with the results. And we were.
